A copper mine needed on-call electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering it could draw on as projects arose across the site. Under a general engineering services agreement, CEI provided electrical, I&C, and programming support on a task-order basis — producing drawings, specifications, and control strategies and programming plant equipment and controls as each project required. The arrangement gave the operation a single engineering partner able to respond to varied electrical and automation needs without a dedicated in-house team.
