A mine operator planned an interconnection pipeline to move water from a well field to a treatment plant through collection and surge-tank pump stations tied to a central control room. CEI provided the electrical and controls engineering, including service entrances and site power distribution. Phase 1 conceptual engineering delivered a concept report, controls philosophy, single-line and network diagrams, P&IDs, a preliminary equipment list, trade-off analysis, an AACE Class 3 estimate, and schedules. Phase 2 detailed engineering produced issued-for-construction drawings, specifications, a process control narrative, an AACE Class 2 estimate, and tender documents — a bid-ready design.
