The Village of Ruidoso’s rehabilitation of its Alto Crest Water Treatment Plant (Plant 3) called for control-system programming to bring the upgraded facility into automated operation. Working through the electrical contractor, CEI provided PLC control panel design and process programming, integrating the plant PLC with an HMI featuring historian and alarm management. The system tied together the plant’s network switch and field instrumentation — analyzers, pressure and level transmitters, magmeters, and flowmeters — into a fully programmed, integrated control system for the rehabilitated plant.
