Global Water Resources set out to reduce the risk of lightning-related damage and equipment failure across five well sites and three water distribution center sites. CEI provided the lightning protection engineering. The scope included ground-grid testing, using fall-of-potential and point-to-point methods, and a detailed design package for new lightning protection systems, or upgrades to existing systems as needed, to meet NFPA 780 standards.
