A copper mine’s filter control system ran on an obsolete PLC platform that needed to be brought current. CEI provided design and process programming to migrate the filter PLC and its remote I/O to a modern controls platform, reusing the existing network and adding no devices. CEI delivered drawings to support procurement and assembly, along with programming, a factory acceptance test, and start-up and training — modernizing the filter controls with minimal disruption over the site’s scheduled down day.
