The Maricopa Mountain Domestic Water Improvement District needed to upgrade an aging water system, adding new wells and electrical service upgrades across existing and new sites. CEI provided engineering consulting through a multi-phase approach: preliminary design with design criteria, a 30% package, utility coordination, and a cost opinion; final design through 60% and 100% packages; bidding services with a bid walk and RFI responses; construction administration with field reports, a punch list, submittal reviews, and start-up support; and post-construction record drawings. A radio path study carried the improvements from concept through closeout.
