A mine operator required detailed engineering and a construction RFQ for early works on the communication network serving its dewatering facilities, including interconnection pipelines and a treatment plant. CEI provided electrical engineering centered on the fiber-optic communication interconnection, beginning with a gap analysis confirming the existing and new fiber systems could be completed without gaps. From that analysis CEI produced a preliminary sketch and write-up of the fiber requirements, and during bidding delivered a construction scope of work, coordination meetings, and a stamped addendum — a documented, biddable path to a resilient network.
