Providing Electrical Engineering and System Integration services to complete conversion of alarms. Scope includes plant record drawings to reflect wiring changes, a subcontract for the electrical contractor to run conduit and pull wires, on-site presence during the wire pull, and reprogramming of plant PLCs #2 and #3.
Providing Professional Electrical Engineering services for a power study, procurement, inspections, and programming. Power study work consists of device evaluation, protective device coordination, Arc Flash study and Arc Flash labels.
Provided extensive Programming work at the Jonathan Rogers Water Treatment Plant and the Robert Bustamante Wastewater Treatment Plant. Scope included standardizing (8) Operator Interface Terminals (OIT) and (2) HMI’s which were not consistent between the plants.
Providing Electrical Instrumentation and Control services for the replacement of existing programmable logic controllers. Services include I/O wiring diagrams, PAC procurement, inspection after installation, PLC program conversion, upload, and iFix updates.
Provided design and process programming for the upgrade from PLC5 with Flex IO to Control Logix. Filter PLC had (2) Remote Flex I/O racks which were also converted to Control Logix. Filter PLC and Flex I/O hardware were converted using a Rockwell Conversion Kit for hardware to Control Logix 1756.
Provided Process Programming for a retrofit of an existing building for one of Sonora Quests newest labs. Antiquated equipment and components were upgraded and some were decommissioned. Upgraded equipment included the UPS system, UPS Batteries, Control Batteries, and Control System PLC.
Performed design, fabrication and programming services to provide a more robust and reliable control system. Existing Schneider Quantum PLC was no longer supported by the manufacturer and was upgraded to a Schneider M580 PLC in a separate rack with redundant processor and power supplies. Entire system was recommissioned.
